One Community Health is Hiring a Remote Revenue Cycle Manager (Hybrid-Remote, Hood River, OR)

Join a team committed to advancing health and social justice for all members of the community in the Columbia River Gorge! The Revenue Cycle Manager position at One Community Health plays a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency and reimbursement for the organization. Responsible for overseeing revenue cycle operations, billing, privileging/credentialing, and enrollment functions, this supervisory role ensures the optimization of patient-related processes. The Revenue Cycle Manager collaborates with intermediate management, utilizes EPIC EMR or other advanced clinical system software, and demonstrates a strong understanding of healthcare payers and regulatory policies. This position full-time, Monday-Friday (hybrid-remote) and required to work 2 days per week in-office at the Hood River Clinic.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of recent (within the last 5 years) experience in medical billing or collecting healthcare accounts.
  • 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Associates in Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR or other advanced clinical system software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing projects effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of health care payers, regulatory policies, and insurance types.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills for calculating patient liability and addressing credit and collection matters.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and electronic health record software.
  • Capacity to prioritize and organize work amidst competing timelines.
  • Relationship management skills in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Initiative and good judgment to resolve problems and challenges.
  • Compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual- English/Spanish
  • Certified Professional Biller (CPB)
  • Previous experience in clinical finance settings (reimbursement, charge master, patient financial services, clinical operations).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and EPIC Resolute Billing.
  • Excellent analytic, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Understanding and application of HRSA requirements and expectations.
  • Certification in EPIC Resolute Professional Billing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Experience with revenue cycle in a community or migrant health center (Federally Qualified Healthcare Center) or Rural Healthcare Center setting.
  • 2 years of working with Revenue Cycle applications in support of revenue cycle operations.
